Grand Duke 2012
Tai Sui 2012
In February every year one of the Chinese animals becomes the ruling Grand Duke of Jupiter, which takes charge and authority over the year. This animal becomes the most important ‘Annual Affliction’ to look out for each year in regards to construction and noisy activity.
2012 – Dragon Mountain – South East 1 – 112.5º to 127.5º
In 2012 avoid:
• New constructions that sit in these sectors within the plot
• Renovations to buildings that sit in these sectors within the plot
• Ground breaking, digging, demolition, maintenance in the exterior/interior
• Renovations, remodelling, decoration in the interior
• Noisy activities, disturbance, clutter, untidiness
Avoiding the Construction Stars
To carry out construction in the plot or interior in 2012, ensure to use the annual afflictions to your advantage. Start construction in a sector that does not hold any of the 4 annual afflictions, the move onto the afflicted sectors and finish back in one of the sectors that does not hold the annual afflictions.
Avoid facing the Grand Duke in the South East 1 sector when you are sitting. If you sit facing the Grand Duke this is regarded as offensive or confrontational and you may experience a lack of support, loss, disharmony, demotion, defeat and obstructions in your path. The best direction to face when seated is away from the Grand Duke as this will support you through the year – this applies to your home and office.
In general apart from the direction you face, the best way to respect the Grand Duke is with calmness, stillness and quiet time for 2012. Keep the Tai Sui quiet, tidy and in a good standard or repair/decor for the year.
Associated negative effects if this sector is disturbed are: blood related illnesses and problems with authority figures at work, law, police and in relationships.
